Before you join us there are a few important safety announcements and guidelines that we want to make you aware of:

** IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING ANY FLU OR COLD-LIKE SYMPTOMS PLEASE DO NOT COME TO CLASS. **

Help us keep you, our staff, and the community safe! If you stay home due to illness we are happy to move a reservation to a future class once you are feeling better.

When you come to an in-person class, you should prepare for and expect the following procedure. (UPDATED March 2022)

1) Registration - Make sure that you are registered for the class ahead of time via one of our partner programs or your Zen Planner account and have updated ALL of the contact and emergency info.  Walk-ins will not be accepted at any PKGB classes, even if there is space.

2) Mask Requirements - Our updated masking guidelines are as follows:

- In general, for PKGB classes masks are OPTIONAL for fully vaccinated participants (proof of vaccination may be required), masks are strongly recommended for unvaccinated participants.

- Because requirements may differ by municipality or host organization, we will defer to local guidance on all masking and vaccination requirements.

3) Arrival & Check-in Process - When you arrive at the class location please be prepared for the following steps:

1 - Proceed to the Check-in Coach and tell them your name.

2 - Show the Check-in Coach that you have a water bottle and apply hand sanitizer to your hands if you’d like.

3 - Proceed to the Drop Zone and place your belongings in a spot spread out from others.

4) Class Setup & Changes - We work hard to make sure that we can keep the spirit and intensity of our classes the same while also facilitating physical distancing as much as possible.  As such we’ll be requiring all coaches and participants to:

- Mind your bubble.  Try to stay at least 6 feet away from fellow participants whenever possible.  If you need to cough/sneeze, step away from the group and do so into your elbow or shirt.

- Listen to your body.  It’s a stressful and uncertain time for many, be responsible and train accordingly.

- Communicate.  If there is something related to safety or COVID that you think is missing or has been overlooked, please let us know.  Our classes have been evolving and adapting for the past 9+ years and we plan to continue that mindset.

- If you are required to wear a mask, please keep it on at all times.  If you need more air flow or are feeling light-headed, you may remove the mask as long as you are away from the group and the training spaces.  Coaches can help direct you to an appropriate spot.

5) What to bring - We recommend that you bring the following items to class:

1 - A (full) water bottle -  We recommend at least 1 liter for classes.  Most local water fountains are not on, so bring lots of water to stay hydrated!

2 - An individual hand sanitizer - we often have some on hand (pun intended) for coaches and participants to use at the start and end of class but bringing your own is helpful!

3 - A small bag or backpack - to keep your stuff contained and to make sure that you don’t mix it up with someone else.

4 - A mask - Just in case you want it.  It should be one that you are comfortable wearing while moving, sweating, and talking.

6) After Class - At the end of class:

1 - Make sure to hydrate and wash your hands thoroughly when you get home.

2 - If you do start to experience COVID-like symptoms or receive a positive test within 7 days of an in-person session, please notify us immediately by sending an email to boston@parkourgenerations.com so that we can contact the local health department.

Remember that if you don’t feel well or need to put your membership on hold, please let us know.
