Build Training Workshop (MAY)
We’re excited to invite our community to participate in the PKGB Build Training, a hands-on training experience designed to teach the foundational skills required to safely and efficiently assemble our scaffolding structures for classes, events, and workshops. We've been running this training internally for many years, but based on popular demand we will be opening up a few limited spots for dedicated and curious community members.
This training covers everything from ways to properly carry bars, staging procedures, clamp usage, different construction methods, and our full safety check process.
Participants will learn essential concepts like basing, leveling, and securing - all while upholding PKGB’s safety-first standards.
Whether you're interested in becoming a coach, looking to make your own home-build, or want to volunteer to help out at some of our community events, this is an opportunity to build confidence, useful skills, and take some ownership in the environments we train in.
Join us and become part of the team that quite literally builds the foundation of our movement!
REQUIREMENTS
- Open to Ages 12+.
- Prior parkour training experience with PKGB required.

Anton Uhl Scholarship Fund Launch
Join us for a special community fundraiser honoring the legacy of Anton Uhl- a beloved member of the Parkour Generations Boston community whose creativity, generosity, and spirit continue to inspire us.
This event invites participants to challenge themselves physically while giving back. Choose a distance or challenge to complete, and invite friends, family, and supporters to pledge donations based on your effort. Every step, lap, and lap helps support the scholarship fund, which creates access to movement opportunities for students in the arts.
WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
Participants can choose their challenge and complete laps to reach their pledged goal- whether that’s a 1 km effort, a mile, or the demanding 101 challenge.
YOU can opt to choose different ways: as a participant, as a donor, or both!
Pledge-by-Lap: Have supporters donate a set amount for every lap/rep that you complete
Distance Goal: Commit to completing 1 km, 1 mile, or more
101 Challenge: Take on a high level of difficulty by committing to 101 reps of a chosen obstacle
Chalk Donations: Contribute to the community mural materials—every bit helps
SPECIAL FEATURE: CHALK ART WITH SAGE UHL
Take a moment to rest, reflect, and connect through an interactive chalk art installation led by Sage Uhl, Anton’s daughter. Located near the railings in the parking lot, this space offers participants a chance to recharge and learn more about Anton’s life and legacy.
Sage, a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, brings her own artistic voice to this piece while honoring her father’s lifelong passion for creativity. The mural reflects their shared love of art, music, and community, and invites everyone to be part of something meaningful.
ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP
The Anton Uhl Scholarship supports students in art and music programs by providing access to movement classes and events. It reflects Anton’s belief in creativity, exploration, and caring for both body and community.
Whether you’re here to push your limits, support a great cause, or simply be part of the community, we welcome you. Come move, create, and celebrate a life that continues to bring people together.

Anton Uhl Scholarship Fundraining Event
The Uhl Scholarship
The Uhl Scholarship is dedicated to the lasting memory of Anton Uhl, a valued and cherished community member and father. Creative and charismatic, Anton loved his family and community as well as his passion for art and music.
Originally seeking out parkour for his son Griffin, a somewhat shy, energetic 13-year-old, Anton quickly became an irreplaceable member of the Parkour Generations community with his unbridled enthusiasm and energy.
Anton brought three things to the Parkour Generations community. Firstly, he was a caretaker. He quickly became the host and the bringer-together of people. He looked after everyone with care and affection. Secondly, he was an explorer. He liked to find new places to explore, with or without parkour, and liked to meet new people and encourage them to join the community. Also, he was an artist. For many years, he was the main artist in residence for Parkour Generations Boston. His work adorned much of our equipment, and people can interact with that artwork to this day.
This scholarship is aimed at helping support students in art and music programs who want to take better care of their bodies but might not have the budget to do so. Pursuing creative passions is demanding enough without the additional cost of fitness or class fees. This scholarship gives you access to our movement classes so you can support your creativity in the physical world the way you deserve to.
Why It Exists
Physical movement supports creative flow, mental clarity, and emotional well-being. However, fitness classes can be cost-prohibitive, especially for artists trying to make a living through their art. At Parkour Generations, we believe that fitness shouldn't be a luxury; it should be accessible to everyone, especially artists who pour so much into their work. We want to help you feel stronger, more energized, and better equipped to chase your dreams.

You’re eligible if:
You’re a student (high school, college, conservatory, or community-based program) in the visual arts, performing arts, or music.

Design-Build-Play Workshops
Join us for a fun and creative workshop lead by Coach Nick Anastasia!
Participants will learn the ins and outs of designing and building scaffolding structures for parkour and collaborate as a group to build an original structure. Coach Nick will lead the group through a design and modeling session using his 3D printed scaffolding modeling kits. Once the group prototypes a new design we will build it in full size with PKGB bars and clamps and then explore the movement possibilities that we’ve created together. Come ready to use your mind and body.
Some parkour experience recommended for the sake of using your "parkour vision" but all fitness and ability levels welcome!
Group sizes will be limited to allow for safe building/design/movement environments.
