Program Scholarships

We work hard to make sure that high-quality parkour instruction is available to ALL participants- regardless of financial means.

Our scholarship program is made possible through the generosity of our larger community and scholarships are offered on a rolling basis. Scholarships may be made available for specific classes or for seasonal memberships, and vary in amount depending on availability and financial need.

Priority is given to applicants who are eligible for the federal free/reduced school lunch program and/or are in specific “at risk” populations within our area of operations. Additional applicants are also welcome to apply.

We welcome you to fill out the scholarship form and to let us know of your unique circumstances.

Mauricio’s Story

Mauricio started with PKGB as a CRLS student intern that went on to participate in multiple seasons from 2020 to 2022, eventually taking the ADAPT instructor course to start the process of becoming a Parkour Generations Boston coach. He was a quiet and hard-working teen that was often overlooked by others but who fully embraced the parkour spirit in his approach to challenges and life’s obstacles, and was always available to lend a helping hand to his teammates and community. He tragically passed away in 2022 and our team and community came together with his family to help create other opportunities for local youth to benefit from additional opportunities through parkour.

Our family thanks Parkour Generations Boston for giving our son, Mauricio E. Gutierrez, the opportunity to work with them.  Parkour made Mauricio feel confident in his ability to learn and do any job where he applied himself. Parkour was very important to him as he enjoyed helping others. Parkour was the first place that gave Mauricio an opportunity to work and show that he was capable of anything he put his mind to.  Mauricio will live on in our family’s memories for as long as we are around, and in the memories of those who were fortunate to have Mauricio in their lives.  Mauricio touched the lives of many in our community and brought us all a lot of joy, happiness, and smiles.  He will continue to do so as we remember the beautiful moments that we shared with him.
